About the venue: Aline Barnsdall’s vision for a dynamic public destination that nurtures “beauty, truth, and freedom” for all. Barnsdall has public art classes (Mike became an excellent painter in his Portland years), and the beautiful Frank Lloyd Wright designed Hollyhock House (Mike gave architecture tours in LA years ago). Located in Los Feliz, close to Mike’s old neighborhood, this park has views of Hollywood and inspiring lighting at dusk. As a public park you can bring your own food and drink, but we will also have beverages and snacks. We recommend bringing a blanket if you want to sit on the grass.
